UCF held its first student-only Market Day on Thursday outside of the Student Union. Only UCF student vendors were able to set up booths in hopes of attracting customers to their personalized merchandise.

Booths ranged from thrifted clothing, crochet items, stationery, shoes, trinkets and fundraising promotions.

UCF students shared their poems and prose during the “Stories Among the Stars Open Mic,” hosted by the
University Writing Center in Trevor Colbourn Hall on Wednesday.

The UCF Writing Center’s semesterly Open Mic calls to student writers interested in sharing their work for the chance to win a prize. This semester’s theme was space. The Writing Center was embellished with constellations, paper planets and glow-in-the-dark stars.

UCF students gathered to hear insider information about the Hollywood industry from a former CEO in the Pegasus Ballroom on Monday.

Jason Felts, CEO of Virgin Produced from 2009 to 2018, shared stories from his memoir, “The Hollywood Virgin: Breaking Into and Out of Show Business.”
